Appeal Pending

By: iStatus.co.za Editorial Team  |  Last Update: May 2026

When your status shows Appeal Pending, it means your dispute has been successfully lodged with the Independent Tribunal for Social Assistance Appeals (ITSAA) and is awaiting review.

The tribunal manually re-investigates your financial records and cross-references them against SARS and bank databases. This process can take between 60 and 90 days. If approved, you will receive back-pay for the disputed months.
