SASSA Reapplication Guide
If you previously cancelled your grant, or need to re-apply after a prolonged period of disqualification, follow this updated tutorial.
Before You Reapply
Make sure you meet the basic eligibility criteria for the current SRD R370 cycle:
- You must be a South African Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Asylum Seeker.
- You must be between 18 and 59 years old.
- You must have zero to minimal income (less than R624 per month).
Step-by-Step Reapplication
- Navigate to the official SRD portal.
- Select the "Click here to apply online" section.
- Enter your mobile number and click "Send SMS".
- Input the OTP sent to your phone.
- Complete the multi-step form detailing your address, financial status, and banking details.
- Agree to the declaration and submit.
